"what is soft and fuzzy and warm? what can swim the minute it's born?"

I really look forward to when you can come home and tell me all about Boston! I know being so far away will be hard, and that you will miss Alex. She will miss you too, I have no doubt. How could she not!? Enjoy the time away, getting to know a new city and being back in school. The time will pass quickly...
I love you and am so proud of the amazing woman you are!
I'll miss you "baby duck" : )

"...so far away, doesn't anybody stay in one place anymore..."

I took my last trip to 4537 Spruce St. last night and I'm feeling a bit melancholy today

stepping back in time

The magicians, the hypnotists, the tattoo artists, the acrobats, the sword fights, the trial&dunk, the costumes, soup in a bowl, ginger ale and sucking raspberries through a straw, shepherds pie, bees, the torturous twirly ride, the joust and William Shakespeare...The Renaissance Faire was great fun! Thanks Glenn for the long hours of driving!

you only have to be born once to celebrate forever!

You say it's your birthday
It's my birthday too--yeah
They say it's your birthday
We're gonna have a good time
I'm glad it's your birthday
Happy birthday to you.

Yes we're going to a party party
Yes we're going to a party party
Yes we're going to a party party.

I would like you to dance--Birthday
Take a cha-cha-cha-chance-Birthday
I would like you to dance--Birthday

You say it's your birthday
Well it's my birthday too--yeah
You say it's your birthday
We're gonna have a good time
I'm glad it's your birthday
Happy birthday to you.

remembering the day...

The World Trade Center movie opens this week on Wednesday. As destruction's dust settled on the day's horrific tragedy, it blanketed not only one nation, but all of humanity in a gray, dusty, mourning shroud. Hearts broke worldwide over losses, but filled with a new found love of family. Sad, that it takes a catastrophe to make us value the things we already have. Life and our love of family become our most valued treasure.
